1、在橡胶中的应用
用于橡胶中,可增加橡胶的体积,改善橡胶的加工性,起半补强或补强作用,并可调节橡胶的硬度及回弹性。
2、在塑料中的应用
塑料工业是硅酸钙最大的消费领域,细化的重钙粉,能明显提高塑料复合材料界面的强度及力学性能。塑料中使用微细硅钙粉,既可降低其制造成本,又可提高其性能。
3、在造纸中的应用
造纸工业用硅酸钙主要有两个用途,一是作为填料,二是作为涂层。目前,我国大多数造纸厂使用的是酸法造纸工艺,采用的填料主要是高岭土和滑石粉,硅酸钙会取代酸式施胶,重钙粉作为填料将在很大范围内代替滑石粉或高岒土。
4、在油漆、涂料中的应用
油漆、涂料也是硅酸钙的主要消费领域之一,一般是作为填料和体质颜料使用,主要应用的品种是建筑涂料。在国外欧美等工业发达国家,胶粘剂也是硅酸钙的主要消费领域之一,但胶粉剂对硅酸钙的要求较高,一般要求细度>1250目.除此之外,粒度细、纯度高、白度好的硅酸钙还被应用在油墨、医药、化妆品等领域中。
